Planning a visit near Westlake High School
Can students walk over? Yes! Our office is right across from Westlake High School. A parent must attend the initial exam, but students can walk over independently for follow-up visits once they have the school’s permission to leave.
For appointments during class time, parents can email the Attendance Office in advance to arrange dismissal. Students pick up their dismissal pass before school or between classes, show it to their teacher, and leave at the approved time to walk over. Check with the school about notice requirements, checkout and return procedures, and any permissions specific to your student.
Can an orthodontic visit fit into lunch? Lunch can be a convenient time for a visit with less time away from class. We schedule our team’s lunch later to help accommodate student orthodontic visits. Tell us your student’s lunch period so we can check appointment availability and timing. Off-campus lunch eligibility and dismissal requirements can vary, so confirm your student’s arrangements with the school before their visit.
